H-mode power threshold

Tokamak plasmas transition from L-mode to H-mode when the loss power exceeds a threshold. The threshold varies depending on many factors, including electron density $n_{e}$ and main ion species (hydrogen, deuterium, deuterium/tritium mix, helium).
