In February, 2007, Europe and Japan signed the Broader Approach agreement to implement three projects: [1]
- JT-60SA
- IFERC
- IFMIF
These aim to complent the ITER project and accelerate the realisation of fusion energy by carrying out R&D and developing some advanced technologies for future power reactors (DEMO).
