An important task in the development of 3D , helical devices is the intermachine comparison of confinement and transport. In order to enhance the effectiveness of the international cooperation in this area, a joint database has been established. The general philosophy of the International Stellarator-Heliotron Profile Database (ISHPDB [[http://www.ipp.mpg.de/ippcms/eng/for/bereiche/e3/projekte/ishpdb.html IPP mirror], [http://ishpdb.nifs.ac.jp/index.html NIFS mirror]) is to collect and assess contributions for a concise documentation of Stellarator-Heliotron performance. The Coordinated Working Group (CWG) aligns the international collaboration within the International Stellarator-Heliotron Profile Database  (ISHPDB). <br>
